Afternoon tea fare
Method (Pre-heat Oven 180c)
- Place the cake mix, sour cream, eggs and dried banana pieces into the work bowl of a food processor and process until well combined.
- Pour the cake mix into a greased and lined 24cm cake tin.
- Slice the banana into thick pieces and lay over the top of the cake, sprinkle over the walnuts and cinnamon sugar.
- Bake in the pre-heated oven 180c for 35-40 minutes until cooked and golden.
Cool on a wire rack and serve warm or cold.
- 1 x 680g Butter Cake Mix
- 200g Bulla Sour Cream
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 100g dried banana pieces
- ¼ cup milk or juice
- 1 large ripe banana
- 50g golden walnuts
- 1 tsp cinnamon sugar
- Yoghurt or Butter
Cooking Time: 25 mins
Bananas maybe be replaced with dried and sliced apples.
